Today the Trees are Singing

Today, the trees are singing
they are calling for my heart
The wind is pushing gently
on my sorrows
"Let them go" the giants whisper
I watch the wind fly through the firs
I hear its whoosh and cry
The call to heal and honor death
And fill my lungs with her sweet breath
I raise my arms
An act of Faith
And cast my grief into the sky
